What a wonderful stay we had! The attention to detail at this charming place was outstanding, from the beautiful gardens to the cozy rooms. The staff was absolutely amazing, making us feel like royalty during our romantic escape. The food was a definite highlight, with delicious meals that exceeded our expectations. We also loved the location, perfect for our journey and offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere.
While the stay was mostly perfect, there were a few minor issues. the breakfast options were a bit limited, and it would have been nice to have more variety, such as fruit and juice.

The location of the albergue is slightly away from the town, which provides a peaceful and quiet atmosphere for relaxation. Additionally, the hosts are known for their impeccable service, as they went above and beyond to arrange a late dinner for us even after the kitchen was closed. Moreover, the property itself is amazing, offering a wide range of amenities, including a restaurant with plenty of options to choose from.
Although the albergue has a comfortable bed, one of the downsides is the small size of the dorm, which can feel cramped with all the people. Additionally, the lack of curtains in the bed bunks may lead to a reduction in privacy.

The garden at Albergue Vintecatro is absolutely stunning, providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere. I loved taking a dip in the refreshing pool after a long day of walking. The whole property is meticulously maintained and clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even arranging a late-night meal for us when the kitchen was already closed. The availability of laundry facilities, including a dryer, was a huge convenience. Plus, the fact that they offer a hot pilgrim meal for just €7 was a treat after a rainy and tiring day.
There were a few minor drawbacks to my stay. The noise from the bar downstairs could be heard in the rooms above, but it quieted down by around 11pm, so it didn't disturb my sleep too much.
